Information for Clients

As the impact of Covid - 19 continues to develop rapidly, we want to give you reassurance that we are committed to protecting the health and well-being of our staff, their families and our clients.  We are very much “open for business” and committed to supporting you with the work we are doing on your behalf.

Our office is now closed to clients but in all other respects we are continuing working for our current and new clients.

We have a skeleton staff who are in the office periodically and the remainder of our staff are working remotely.

We are no longer meeting people while the current uncertainty exists, save in very rare circumstances when social distancing will need to be observed.

We can offer the following alternatives:  telephone conference calls, FaceTime, Skype and WhatsApp. If documents need to be delivered please send them to the office where we can arrange to collect them.

Our aim is to continue providing the best possible service, within the unprecedented constraints we are all facing.  This may mean you will only be able to communicate with us electronically (e.g. email, Skype etc.) and by telephone.

Telephoning and emailing us

You will still be able to contact us at the email addresses you have, and through our main office telephone number 01285 650551.  This number may be diverted, and messages taken for your solicitor to contact you.  That process may take a little longer than normal, but you will be contacted. We have no intention of changing the email addresses you already use, nor the telephone number.

Taking care of your money

We are still able to process payments on your behalf. This may involve various ID and verification checks, which we will discuss with you by telephone.

If you wish to settle an invoice, we ask that you do so by bank transfer direct to our account or by cheque.  We are currently not using our card payment facility over the telephone.

Please be aware that we have no intention of changing our banking details from the ones submitted to you in our Client Care letter.  Nor do we have any intention of asking you to send finances to any third-party accounts.  If you are sending us money and are in any doubt as to the validity of the information you hold, please telephone us immediately.

We will continue to support our existing and new clients and thank you for your understanding.
